Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova is a Russian television personality and an ex-professional tennis player. The mix of her fame and appearance made Anna Kournikova one of the best-known tennis stars around the globe. Anna Kournikova, a Russian tennis player, who in the past was considered to be the most prominent female tennis player in the world. Kournikova's performance as a doubles player was highly praised. Because of her modeling career and her appearance, she was a worldwide celebrity. Today Kournikova is one of the top athletes searched for on the internet. Kournikova was an average modern baseliner in singles moving her ball across the court in a fast and efficient spin. She played with a lot of force and utilized powerful groundstrokes. Her parents, who were both professionals themselves, came from Moscow. Sergei Kournikov, her dad was a world champion in wrestling and Alla Kournikov, her mother was the runner. Kournikova first started tennis at the age of five, and then was moved to Florida in 1991 (at age 10) to attend the Nick Bollettieri academy. Kournikova after becoming a professional, signed sponsorship agreements with many brands. Her name is still a recognizable star even after she's been retired. Kournikova's relationship with Enrique Iglesias began in 2001. The couple have two children twins, born in December of 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova was born on the 7th of June the 7th of June, 1981 Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was a fervent Russian professional tennis player. She made her professional debut at age 14. She was one of the youngest to play at the Fed Cup ever and won it for Russia. She made it to the U.S. Open at the age of 15 and reached Wimbledon's semi-finals around when she was 16. She had to stop playing professionally aged 21 due to back pain that was severe.
